You just may not have known about it at the time.
So I want to take a couple of minutes to tell you about them, then point you in the right direction as to what networks you should consider playing on.
What is a Poker Network?
A poker network is a company that helps other companies launch their gaming brands online.
They provide them with resources like software, graphics, marketing tools, banking options and sometimes even licensing.
They streamline the entire process.
Each partner on the network is also known as a skin.
The reason why is because all sites on a network use the same software, ultimately looking alike.
The only differences are the logo, colors of the site and sometimes the promotions offered.
Poker Networks That Accept American Poker Players If you ask me the pros definitely outweigh the cons.
Even taking the identical graphics into consideration.
The only thing that weighs on my mind is the possibility merge gaming poker sites running into a rogue poker site, or worse, a bad apple for a network.
Our goal is to help you prevent those companies.
So what we did is review all the networks and hand picked the ones we felt comfortable recommending to you.
I recommend reading each one, and then reading the reviews of the sites on said network.
That will be the fastest way to finding a site you enjoy playing at.
This network is known for their unique software, recreational players and Zone Poker — the only kind of fast fold poker for US players.
Lock Poker used to be on the Cake Poker Network, until they made the switch in 2010.
However, they outgrew the Merge Network and ended up buying the Cake Network in 2012, rebranding it merge gaming poker sites Revolution Gaming.
Right now their poker site only.
They were an unknown network, at least until Black Friday hit.
Post Black Friday, however, their player based grew nearly 100% as US players had hardly anywhere else to see more />Pros and Cons to Playing on a Network There are both pros and cons to playing on a network.
Anyway, lets take a look at those now.
Network Pros The best part read more playing on a network is that they pool their traffic together.
That means games will run more longer throughout the day and more consistently.
This eliminates then need to review sites, other than for merge gaming poker sites reputation purposes.
Assuming that is ok, though, you can then go from one site to the next, taking advantage of each bonus offer.
The last thing I like about networks is that there is some barrier to entry.
They force you to pay fees, be licensed and take care of your customers to remain apart of their network.
Network Cons There are some downsides, too.
For one thing, the policing on behalf of the network can only go so far.
Another thing you may not care for are the skins themselves.
The games all look and operate the same.

Best Merge Poker Sites - Merge Network Poker Rooms Best Merge Poker Sites - Merge Network Poker Rooms The Merge Network is an online poker network of moderate size, though it has increased its traffic in the past two years by poaching a few larger rooms from other networks.
Merge is known for its excellent software, and is accessible to players from the United States.
Each poker site on the network brings their own players to it, and all players on the Merge Network play on common tables.
This allows poker rooms who are way too small to survive on their own to hit the ground running and enjoy the large player base that Merge Gaming provides.
This is one of the beauties of the network concept, where players from other forms of betting can be easily accessed from these essentially non-poker sites and merge gaming poker sites into the fold.
This merge gaming poker sites tends to make these networks fishier than pure poker sites, attracting players much less familiar with poker.
The non poker specialists are looser with their money and like to gamble more, as opposed to playing the more sound poker strategy that most poker players at least aspire to.
The gamblers, the ones from sports betting and casino sites, are generally not privy to the basic skills that have pervaded online poker lately, and therefore can be much more easily exploited.
In fact these weaker players tend to exploit themselves, just like your average player did in the earlier days of online poker, by simply playing too loosely and recklessly.
Merge Poker Accepting Players From The US Merge Poker has always accepted players from around the world, regardless of what country you are from, even if you are from the U.
When Black Friday hit, seeing the major poker rooms getting out of the U.
They continued to offer online poker to U.
This process has now been completed and Merge is happy to announce that they are back taking new U.
Since then, the Merge Poker Network has experienced significant growth, a phenomenon which continues as we speak.
The Americans that have been abandoned by Poker Stars, Full Tilt, UB, and Absolute Poker, are becoming more and more eager to get back into the game.
Of all the sites that are still in the game, the Merge Poker Network has been the most popular choice among these players, and the momentum continues.
However, a lot of the mega table grinders that proliferated the huge poker sites catering to Americans have been left out in the cold somewhat, at least for now anyway.
There still are plenty of opportunities to multi table at places like Merge, but the new reality merge gaming poker sites a more modest approach to this.
What has happened though is the big volume players have tended to feel sorry for themselves and a great many have even given up online poker entirely.
What most of them really needed to do for a long time was to look to get better and move up stakes, and continue to resist this needed adjustment and insist on either playing their fairly mindless variety of poker or not play at all.
So as you might expect, things at Merge have gotten a little tougher with all the new players coming over from other poker sites, who do tend to be better than the regular fish that have merge gaming poker sites hung out at Merge.
Still though, things are nowhere near as tough as they could be if Merge ended up being turned into another Poker Stars or Full Tilt Poker, being overrun by competent or better players fighting for the money from relatively few fish percentage wise.
Merge Poker Traffic The traffic at Merge has never been anything to hoot about, and in fact, this has been the big knock against them all these years.
So this was the challenge that faced Merge after Black Friday when most U.
Most had avoided Merge and the other poker sites that still offered online poker to them because they simply considered them to be too small to be worth their while.
Now I feel that this is a mistaken view, but at the same time, when I think back to how thin the traffic was back then at all of these sites, I can understand where they were coming from.
So in order for Merge to start getting a good amount of these players, they had to build up some momentum.
The fact that they had to stop taking new U.
So recently my predictions have come to pass, and Merge currently sits as the number six poker room in the world in terms of player traffic, and in the number one position for traffic among poker sites offering play to Americans.
So things are really starting to look up here and the expectation is that they will continue to grow in 2012, and things at Merge will continue to get even bigger and even better.
Merge Poker Safety As might be expected, one of the things that have given a lot of players pause for thought about getting back into the online poker scene is the safety of poker sites still offering play to Americans.
What players check this out to realize is that the extent of the Black Friday crackdown really came down to the fact that the U.
This informant had been kicked to the curb so to speak by these poker rooms and was extremely angry at them and was looking for revenge.
The several months pause that the Merge Poker Network took to significantly source their payment processing system demonstrates that they take this very seriously, and for good reason, as their money is on the line as well.
Merge offers special bad beat tables which take an additional amount of rake from pots to contribute merge gaming poker sites the bad beat jackpot.
Merge Poker Deposits And Withdrawals Merge, like most poker rooms, has no issues when it comes to accepting deposits or processing withdrawals from players residing in countries other than the United States.
They offer many popular options for both and you can move money in and out of their member sites with ease.
If you are from the United States, due to the crackdown by the government, there are limited options for deposits and withdrawals.
Merge has worked hard though on offering a reliable payment processing service to these residents, and while it does require some time to get your money out, at least you can.
Overall, there are very few good choices out there for Americans, and Merge is definitely among the best if not https://tayorindustry.com/games/game-casino-77777.html very best.
Players from other countries will also enjoy some of the soft tables that run there.
Just click on one of our top recommended Merge poker rooms to try them out and collect some nice bonuses while you are at merge gaming poker sites />More on the Merge Network The Merge Network, founded in Australia, has become well known for their software package that includes many unique features, as well as a wide selection of games that are playable in the poker room.
inferno casino game also provides software for many other games of luck and skill, including blackjack, roulette, Caribbean Stud Poker, backgammon and euchre.
In total, there are over 60 sites in the Merge Gaming Network.
Along with many that use unique branding on their sites, many poker rooms.

Precisely why more people need to start playing it.

The last I heard is that they weren't accepting any new players.
Add in the fact that they booted a bunch of winning players and made other terrible policy changes a few years back and I'm more surprised that it has any games running at all.
Why do they even keep maintaining the network if they're not going to allow new players?
How is that sustainable?

I'm on windows btw I've had this before and it was my antivirus blocking it silently, so that's the first place to look.
Firewall could also cause problems so maybe look into that.
Otherwise try installing to a different folder.
There might be some leftover files in the old install folder that are causing problems.
If you have another computer to test with, try installing it on there to see if it has the same problem.

It's not and the player pool has dwindled rapidly.

It's really too bad, I love the software and structures of the tournaments here.
One good thing about them not accepting new players is that it has kept out the bots that have infested every other site.
I think they prefer to keep sports betting the main priority and keep poker around as a service to their customers.
They have even gone as far as banning people winning too much in cash games which may further support that argument.
Those tourneys were fun.
I've been playing on Merge since Black Friday.
I officially pulled my roll today.
The volume is just too little to continue to play on the network.
They probably have the best software in the industry.
They had a big chance back in 2011 to take control of the American market.

Why not just play multiple sites like a normal person?
Why not just play multiple sites like a normal person?
I never said I didn't.
I play on multiple sites, like a normal person.
I'm a tournament player.
After that was removed, I literally don't have a tournament to play.
Sometimes I'd play 25nl 6-max, but even then, it was one or two tables max.
It's a sad day, indeed.
Are you serious about BOL?
Have you not played there very long?
They changed their tournament structures to be complete crap shoots at the end of the tournaments.
Avg stack is around 15bb with over half the field at or under 10bb.
They changed their rebuy structures to milk more rebuys they rake every single individual rebuy and they ended their vip point system without any warning their players.
Literally stole from their own customers.
Also, cant even play a cash game without multiple bots at the table.
This site was 10x better 2 months ago before they "stepped up their game.
The tournaments for every site are crap shoots at the end.
WPN, Merge, BOL, Ignition, they're all structured in a similar way with aggressive blind jumps at the end.
I'm very happy with how many more tournaments link are on BOL as compared to 2 months merge gaming poker sites />At least for the games I play.
I've been playing on BOL for years.
I understand how it goes.
Some of you people can complain about anything.
Also, the BOL rebuy structure has always been the same.
They have always raked each individual rebuy.
Clearly, you have not been playing there very long.
And how did they end merge gaming poker sites VIP program?
It was always such that you could only use the points to buy into MTTs.
As far as I know, that's still the same.
Not like the rewards were great to begin with.
Oh, and every site has bots.
Have you read the WPN thread?
Merge is probably the only site without bots, and with this traffic, why would the bot operators bother?
The tournaments for every site are crap shoots at the end.
WPN, Merge, BOL, Ignition, they're all structured in a similar way with aggressive blind jumps at the end.
I'm very happy with how many more tournaments there are on BOL as compared to 2 months ago.
At least for game strategy home poker games I play.
This is just not true.
I play on every site you listed.
I play between 800-1k turning stone online game per month.
Of the sites listed, bol late game structure is by far the worst, followed by bodog.
WPN and Merge have great structures and are always around 25-30bb avg stack at the final 2 tables and less.
The thing that sucks is that before these recent structure changes there was plenty of late game play on bol.
Some of you people can complain about anything.
It was always such that you could only use the points to buy into MTTs.
As far as I know, that's still the same.
Not like the rewards were great to begin with.
I've been playing on BOL for years.
I understand how it goes.
Apparently you don't know how it goes, as that option was taken away over 2 months ago.
Some of us had 100k's point saved up and they took them without warning.
Also, the BOL rebuy structure has always been the same.
They have always raked each individual rebuy.
Clearly, you have not been playing there very long.
Yes, it is true that they have always raked each individual rebuy.
However, that is not what i was taking about when I said they changed the structure since when does structure mean rake?
Instead of the previous 5k chips per rebuy they now only give 2k some tournaments 3kand instead of the 7.
This creates a faster structure which promotes more rebuys during the rebuy period, thus more rake.
Oh, and every site has bots.
Have you read the WPN thread?
Of course I have read those threads.
Every site has bots see more the one you just left.
Would you like to make any more statements about things that you don't know anything about?
Would you like to make any more statements about things that you don't know anything about?
Sure, I'd happily like to comment.
This is just not true.
I play on every site you listed.
I play between 800-1k mtts per month.
Of the sites listed, bol late game structure is by far the worst, followed by bodog.
WPN and Merge have great structures and are always around 25-30bb avg stack at the final 2 tables and less.
The thing that sucks is that before these recent structure changes there was plenty of late game play on bol.
So yeah, maybe slightly faster than WPN, but seems pretty good to me if you understand math.
You are acting like they're all turbos where everyone is 10 bigs or less.
You stated everything is 10-15 blinds average, but I just found 4 games where that wasn't the case.
And really, those are all pretty much the same structure before the update.
So not much has really changed.
Two completely different tournaments.
You said the 5 daily Merge tournaments had better structures.
Apparently you don't know how it goes, as that option was taken away over 2 months ago.
Some of us had 100k's point saved up and they took them without warning.
I had points up until the new update a week or two ago.
I don't see them anymore, so I guess they're gone.
I guess you're a sucker for "saving" points.
If there is one thing I've learned over the course of online poker's history, it's use your rewards when you have them.
Any site can take them away upon their own terms.
But you should know to take all precautions when it comes to unregulated online poker and take advantage of any edge when it's available.
Even so 100k points is really not that much in equity.
The blind and chip structure in the rebuys I played before the update still seem pretty similar.
Every site has bots except the one you just left.
The lack of bots is pretty irrelevant when there is barely one table per stake running at any time.
Who cares if there aren't bots if no games run?
You pretty much just went through all of the available tournamentslisted the ones with the biggest avg stack size on bol and then listed the ONE with the least avg stack size on merge.
Luckily YOU didnt have any points so who cares right?
My main concern with the rebuys was that the structure is much worse, just like all of the other tournaments they changed the structure to.
Im glad you took the time and had the time to look all of that up but not really sure what you are trying to prove, except for all of the points I already made.
You should source your screen names on merge and bol so i can have a good laugh.
Yeah, it took me all of 3 minutes to pull that information.
Not like it's difficult with the traffic for merge gaming poker sites site to pull the few running tournaments.
For Merge, I believe that was the only guarantee going at the time.
So yeah, tough to pull more examples than that.
There was maybe one other guarantee going.
I didn't look that hard.
We've gone from 25-30 big blind avg stack on 2 tables or less to 3 handed is irrelevant, obviously.
They are actually pretty useful considering the general population doesn't have a clue.
If you're playing 800-1k tournaments a month, I'm sure you'd come out ahead.
The rebuy structures are not much worse.
It used to be 2k, 2k, 4k, and now it's 4k, 4k, 5k, if I'm remembering correctly with the same blind structure.
I don't have to prove anything to you.
I've been a recreational, part-time winning player since 2007.
Unlike you, I have a respectable full-time job, so yeah, I don't have the time to play 800-1k tournaments a month.
I typically play 200-300 in a month.
I would never, ever go pro in the USA in the current climate.
What a moronic risk on so many levels.
I was simply pointing out your incorrect statements.
Also, not my dumb ass decision to use my points as savings account.
You should have used them before you lost them.

April 30th, 2018 Last updated on November 3rd, 2018 Merge Gaming Network Merge Gaming is a longstanding network, at least in terms of the igaming space.
They got their start as Poker.
Shortly following the launch of the network, the started their flagship site even to this day Carbon Poker.
Even when PokerStars accepted American players I would still play at Carbon because their software looked and functioned better than Stars did at that time.
The colors were richer and reminded me of a video game.
On top of that they had neat features, side casino games and real money freerolls.
Below I do my best to highlight their best software attributes.
Software Compatibility All of the sites on the Merge Network have native downloads for both PC and.
Both work the same — download the installer to your computer, double click on it, click run and the software will install to your computer within a few minutes.
Mobile is a miss.
The closest the network is to having a is Carbon Poker.
They came out with their beta in the beginning of 2013, and just released their real money beta to select members of 2+2 in August 2013.
I predict seeing a release within the next 6-9 months.
In the meantime you can play casino games or bet on sports from your mobile device.
Carbon Poker is all set there.
Other sites will be hit or miss.
Most stick to holdem, omaha and maybe merge gaming poker sites stud.
Merge carries those games, and then some.
In addition to holdem, omaha and stud, you can also play razz and a variety of draw and mixed games.
Stakes for these games start at.
Variations for tournaments include 4 and 6-max, turbo, hyper turbo, deep stacks, knockouts, double or nothings, guarantees, live package qualifiers click the following article more.
That said, the biggest challenge here is the lack of traffic.
Not to the site overall — Merge is one of in that category.
But even before Merge gaming poker sites Friday they struggled to funnel players to the lesser popular games.
They still do today.
However, if you want to play draw, razz or mixed poker, this is the best US network to do it on.
Compared to other networks Merge has far and away the most games.
The stakes and variations are similar though.
Other than poker the Merge Network is known for their side games.
You can play video poker, blackjack and Caribbean stud.
So the icing on those cakes would be the jackpots you could win while playing them, something the network is known for.
Lobby and Table Software Features From an aesthetic and usability point of view, Merge Gaming is one of the best networks — US or international.
Starting with the lobby — the best thing about it is the filter.
Then those games will be shown below.
For cash game players there is a detailed filter that lets you narrow down your choices based on the average pot size, number of players to the flop, hands per hour and more.
Although hidden, there is a quick seat feature too.
This is noteworthy if anything because of sites like Bovada and Lock Poker going out of their way to segregate or protect their recreational players.
Carbon Poker is grinder friendly like that.
You can also track sports lines from the bottom of the lobby.
The default graphics look good, but you have hundreds — possibly thousands — of combinations.
Some sophisticated, others cartoony looking.
The standard options are available too.
This includes things like rabbit hunting, showing one card to your opponent when you fold and the option to run the hand twice in a heads up, all in situation.
There are animated emoticons too, that you merge gaming poker sites use to taunt your opponents.
Last — Carbon Poker allows and is compatible with programs like Holdem Manager and Poker Tracker.
Grinders have a place to play.
What I Like There are several things I like.
But what I like most is how clean, good looking and simple the software is.
There is a good balance between looks and functionality.
But not just to the poker games, merge gaming poker sites to the click here and sportsbetting games as well.
However, it sounds like Carbon Poker is well on their way in delivering that.
All merge gaming poker sites all — the Merge Network is easily the best network for US players.
A mobile app would solidify that position About Cliff Spiller Cliff Spiller has been an online writer for 14 years.

Highly rated among US-facing poker rooms in cash game traffic and multi-table tournament options, both Carbon and Aced also pays its players efficient and in a timely fashion as evidenced in our own Monthly Cashout Report featuring Merge as one of the consistent highly rated US networks.
It is not nearly as long a list as it once was.
Some of you may remember that just a mere two years ago the Merge Gaming Network had over 70 skins.
No, that is not a typo, Merge Poker consisted of well over seventy poker operators at one point in time.
We are happy to see most of them go because the internal competition was just plain silly.
Yes, we are looking at you Overbet, RPM Poker, FeltStars, and Lock Poker.

Not that there is anything bad about them in so far as their poker payouts or integrity goes, but the bottom three skins do not allow players to play more than four tables at a time and are quick with the "table restriction" ban hammer.
