And this is easier said than done because dealers and pit bosses know what to look for in card counters.
In best card counting blackjack to this, you need to be less obvious about your bet spreading when the count is favorable.

Blackjack Card Counting - Learn How to Beat the House
Blackjack Card Counting Systems, Total Count All Cards Card Counting Blackjack Systems: Reversed Counts, Total Count, All BJ Cards By Ion Saliu, Founder of Blackjack Mathematics I.
Marketing Stunt by Casinos: Blackjack Card Counting First capture by the WayBack Machine web.
Perhaps the improvements in world economy after 2010 start benefitting casinos as well.
It's real good when the general state of things benefits everybody and every entity — or as many entities as possible.
It is noticeable that businesses and economic entities want the world to know that the economy is improving.
That's the first tool employed in marketing.
Then, the tool of advertising is put to work.
The casinos, as business entities, do the same thing.
They let the world know that the economy is getting better and better.
Then they advertise by all means available.
I know because they opened table games in the newly opened casinos in Pennsylvania.
Since table games are a novelty in Pennsylvania, the business in booming.
Everybody around here complains loudly that they can't find enough people to hire, especially as dealers at table games!
Unemployment is still very high in the U.
To make things even more dramatic, there are already stories of cheating at blackjack.
The card-counters are characters of exciting stories again!
Translation: Blackjack is a highly winnable game, people!
Come down and play — and leave the casino a rich person!
There is a personal side to this.
I get more clearly the impression that some want to involve me again.
More messages attack my new and house edge.
There are more and more public opinions attacking my the only theory founded on undeniable mathematics.
They attack my gambling theory by contrasting it with the same fanatic religion of counting cards at blackjack.
There are even new counting systems devised!
I am informed about such systems most likely by the authors themselves.
Possibly, their cronies also bring the BJ counting systems to my attention… you know, trying to think, best casinos in chicago il sorry me change my mind!
I don't change opinions regardless of what others' opinions are — no matter how loudly they are expressed.
Only verification, especially mathematical, matters — that's how I found, and sometimes change, my opinions.
I didn't dismiss the new counting system beforehand.
I checked it out in the name of research.
I even watched a YouTube video.
It was pathetic — it resembled somehow a self-therapy session in a mental institution.
The video showed a blackjack shoe with insanely high positive counts.
The three players at the table won very frequently, while the dealer busted way too frequently.
He replied in a manner characteristic to fanatics.
He affirmed that, actually, his system had lost in the three sessions previous to the final version of his video!
Such a winning system!
Lose three consecutive sessions — then fabricate a fourth winning session!
The strongest indication of cooking the books: The dealer busted far more often than any of the players!
The blackjack dealer busting more than the players combined never happens in a real casino — ever!
Not Even the Best Possible Counting System Can Win at Blackjack I presented also in that Arnold Snyder forum what I consider to be the best card-counting system for blackjack.
The system offers the most comprehensive information regarding the remaining cards in the deck s.
Virtually all other counting systems report only the ratio between the high cards especially Ten-valued cards and low cards especially from 2 to 6.
Usually, the 7s, 8s, and 9s are not counted.
Sometimes, the Aces are side-counted.
If we think that 7, 8, 9 are pretty high cards, a blackjack deck is preponderantly high.
But virtually all counting systems falsify the status of a BJ shoe by ignoring those three cards in the middle 7, 8, 9.
If only considering 9 as a high card it is, indeedthen the beginning of every blackjack shoe has a +4 true count.
The counting system I referred to in that forum was not touted as mine.
As a "rule" in the twenty-first century gambling world, Ion Saliu is taboo.
You might read virulent attacks directed at a gambling author.
They are "frightened" of using the Ion Saliu or Parpaluck name — because the mentioning would send new visitors to my website.
So, I said the new card counting blackjack system was the discovery of Mnionin Vintejay, formerly a mathematics professor and currently a Buddhist monk.
He spent time in totalitarian jails.
Mnionin Vintejay got into trouble because of his computer programming abilities.
His software helped him discover that there are no God s or entities to blindly believe in.
Mnionin Vintejay is monkish only for the purpose of meditation.
This blackjack super card-counting system divides the values into three groups: A, B, C.
From the blackjack player's perspective: Ace A is very high card.
The player doesn't shoot for an Ace to be counted as 1.
We want the Ace to value 11 far more often than not; and thusly make a blackjack natural; or strike 21 when we double down on 10.
So, the count being so high, inherently leads to the conclusion that the blackjack shoe is favorable to the player to begin with!
Well, then, why do we need card-counting systems?!
We start analyzing this counting system in the simplest form: One deck of 52-cards, 100% penetration all cards are dealt… it must be 0% penetration!
I got a distribution of cards like this to begin with starting with the player, the second card in the round goes to the dealer.
The new count is obtained via.
We say mentally the new count in this manner: A16, B11, C18.
After a while we don't need to specify A B C as we go from low to pretty-high to high.
We only say mentally 16 11 18.
Traditionally, they say the new count is high, something like +2.
How about those 11 cards in the middle?
It is a pretty good amount of them remaining in the deck.
Truth is, the possibilities are countless permutations or factorial of N can reach numbers of 20+ digits in length.
But the real painful truth for the card-counting afflicts is this.
The counter who raises his or her bet encounters too many losses compared to the wins.
Therefore, the counter loses way too many times big bets compared to the winning big bets.
Because of such mathematical reality named combinatorics or combinatorial mathematics of permutations and arrangementsthe BJ card-counter can lose the entire bankroll far more quickly than a non-counter.
Honest analysts of the theory of blackjack will stress that painful reality.
Of course, I didn't memorize this counting system!
It offers, however, far more information than all other blackjack card-counting systems.
I applied the system in the privacy of my home, at my leisure.
I wrote down everything on paper, hand by hand.
I accurately recorded the counts for each group.
I coined also a new parameter: group deterioration.
The parameter was derived by comparing the new group count to the initial values of 20, 12, 20.
If group A deteriorated at a higher rate compared to the initial value of 20, the remaining deck was considered to be clearly high.
If, in addition to deteriorated A, there was deterioration in group B, that constituted the best-case scenario.
An increase in betting was mandatory.
But there is the rub.
I was unable to find anything consistent in order to win… consistently.
I best pay casino online lost my bankroll more often than not.
And that even if such situations would win more hands than the dealer.
Problem was the balance between the winning and the losing situations when my bet was bigger.
The blackjack card-counting system cannot afford too many misses — the winning cases may not recuperate the increased losses — more often than not.
Those cards in the middle the pretty-high group play a very important role.
What I noticed, however, is the effect of accented deterioration in groups A and C, but not in group B.
It creates more hands to double down.
You and the blackjack dealer get equal opportunities regarding such hands.
The advantage is the dealer may not double down, while the player is allowed to — and him player wins about 60% of the double downs!
I tell the truth, I don't make a concession next.
There are cases when groups A visit web page B are greatly deteriorated compared to group C.
Seasoned blackjack players click the following article what that means.
There is a much higher A + Ten-value.
Both the blackjack player and the dealer get equal opportunities regarding such hands.
Once again, the advantage goes to the player: He or she is paid 150% 3 to 2, usually; many casinos, however, collapsed to the bad habit of paying the natural 6 to 5.
The article source still gets the same 100% payout 1 to 1 for a natural blackjack.
One strong reason to never take insurance on your blackjack natural!
The analysis got much more complicated by enabling two blackjack players.
It was a lot more inconsistent on how to increase the bet when group C was less deteriorated than groups A and B.
The high cards get distributed among all the participants at the table more often than not.
That's one more factor of increasingly fast losses for the counter.
You, the card counter, might expect that you'll be the beneficiary of all those high cards!
Too many times, there is an equitable distribution of the cards, including that nemesis of ours, the dealer!
I never analyzed for more than two blackjack players.
The inconsistency is insurmountable.
Forget about more than one deck of cards!
The inconsistency makes the blackjack analysis mission impossible.
I used inconsistency several times throughout.
There is consistency, however.
In a majority of cases, blackjack card-counting leads to higher losses in shorter sessions.
The card counter does need a really substantial bankroll.
The best card counting blackjack size is of the essence.
The counter must withstand all those misses when the bet was raised significantly.
And thus the counter must wait or, should I say, pray for those extremely rare situations when the count is extremely rich in Tens and Aces.
The winning situations create a 50% profit compared to the losing situations when only the dealer gets the blackjack naturally.
And here is another rub.
The counter might not get to play those profitable situations.
The pit boss already smelled blood.
The counter lost serious money.
It's time to throw him counter out, before reaching those streaks with lopsided deterioration in groups A, B!
The delusionals card-counting afflicts already adopted this very system of mine!
They call it different names — the handles of posters in various blackjack forums.
They even fight over "ownership" i.
Apparently, my "counting" system is the only one that wins over blackjack.
Counters visit web page because they don't apply this very counting system.
I stressed again and again that I leo vegas best slots not find any formula to guarantee consistent winning with this blackjack system.
Forget about that "negative variance".
There is nothing about variance — it is a constant only.
The player loses overall due to the high house edge in blackjack, the real house advantage, as calculated by Ion Saliu royalty-name: Parpaluck; every human deserves a royalty name and should always bear one.
Meanwhile, playing my blackjack strategy based on winning - losing streaks does have a solid mathematical foundation.
You know that a gambling session consists of wins and losses.
The wins and the losses come in streaks of different lengths.
The number of streaks of various lengths can be calculated by mathematical formulas.
It is undeniable mathematics that a majority of streaks come in shorter lengths e.
L, or LL, or WW, or WW, etc.
The theory of streaks does have virulent opponents.
Some vociferously hate my theory.
A clear majority of them haters represent the core of gambling authors, developer, vendors, system distributors… and the like.
The group also includes casino agents who are paid to attack me.
When the attacks in public places don't succeed, the haters can't take it anymore!
They attack me directly, in my forums, or in email messages.
To the attacks I say: Resquiant in pace, zombies!
Total Count: Counting Every Blackjack Card in the Deck Is it possible to devise a total count, a complete blackjack counting system?
That is, count each and every card as it is dealt.
The quick answer is no.
It happened in the movie Rain Man starring Dustin Hoffman.
It is impossible for a normal person to count every card while playing blackjack.
Only computers can count 100% accurately every card.
It is fairly easy to write special blackjack software.
Even a spreadsheet can be set up to record every card dealt and deduct 1 from total of that particular value.
Problem is, nobody is allowed with a computer inside the casino.
Yours truly did write such software way back when his compilers were 16-bit.
But the program was not meant for use in brick-and-mortar casinos.
The software was meant for online play only.
There was an initial time when gamblers learn more here that the Internet gambling was legitimate and honest.
Most gamblers learned quickly that the online casinos were grossly fraudulent.
You played for fun without real money — you won huge amounts of "money".
When you played for real money — the online bandits took the shirt off your back!
It happened to me and to many other online gamblers.
I wrote several articles on my website about.
Nonetheless I have played with several blackjack software applications created by non-casino companies.
I found such applications to be honest, as best casino near ft lauderdale fl programs don't care who wins and who loses.
I played also manually, by dealing cards from one deck.
I ran the third-party blackjack software on my main computer desktop.
I ran my special card-counting software on my secondary computer laptop.
Every card dealt in the blackjack game on the desktop was entered in my app running on the laptop.
At the end of the round, my specialized program calculated 100% accurately and quickly every imaginable chance for the next round.
For example — blackjacks: 60 in 1081 or 5.
Furthermore, the player can see how many cards remain in the deck for each and best card counting blackjack point value.
Say, 4 Sevens left or 7.
I was able in the 2000s to play heads-up; every shuffle was announced and lasted a few seconds; my specialized software refreshes data for a new shoe.
The count per se is not a guarantee of big wins.
I won big, however, thanks to tracking the streaks: W for win, L for loss.
See the reference below for the specialized Web page I published in the year of grace 2004.
Indeed, the player can beat the online casino mercilessly.
Without a doubt, every player can bankrupt any online casino as if it were one of Donald Trump's casinos!
Of course, every online gambling operator is aware of such grand-scale risks.
Yet, the Internet casinos still operate big-time.
I revealed the reason a few paragraphs before: The online casinos cheat big-big-time!
Their cheat is also the last word.
The casinos guarantee themselves hefty wins, regardless how the gamblers play, or what tricks the players invisibly employ.
Again, even this complete, total card-count cannot beat the game of blackjack automatically.
It certainly helps to know the amount of each and every point-value card remaining in the deck shoe.
The biggest obstacle remaining is the sequence of the cards: No count can figure out the card sequences.
The difficulty is further increased by the penetration and multiple decks.
Not to mention multiple players.
The degree of difficulty increased drastically when simulated multiple players at the same blackjack table.
It happens very rare to see all players win in the same round.
I call it the pefect card counting case-scenario.
Conditions: One deck, no penetration, heads-up play.
I did a combinatorial analysis and that would be a deadly situation for casinos.
They would go bankrupt, therefore they would be forced to discontinue the game of blackjack.
The casinos also added more decks of cards, therefore hugely increasing the number best card counting blackjack possible card sequences permutations.
The text file contains all 720 permutations of the 6 cards and the results for every case:.
The player would be thrown out with a vengeance!
This is a very rare occurrence in blackjack, even IF the penetration was 100% all cards dealt.
That's why card counting was devastating for the casinos when they offered single-deck games with no penetration.
Of course, a TOTAL COUNT was considered in this combinatorial analysis of blackjack.
That is, Player counts absolutely all cards dealt.
Who can do that in the head?!
Problem with card counting, including this of the most perfect situations, is the occurrence of favorable situations.
They are NOT in the majority, but under 50% of the time.
The card counter, however, always increases the bet in positive-count situations.
So, he loses more often than not.
Overall, the bankroll is lost before finding greatly favorable situations, like the one analyzed here.
Penetration adds trillions of permutations to the table, as it were.
Even 75% penetration the best from Player's perspective takes at least 14 cards out of play.
Adding the 6 AATTTT paradise cards: Permutations of 20 is over 2 billion billion.
Dividing our best case-scenario of 720 to 2 billion billion possible permutations results in a figure very, very close to zero.
Granted, not all those billions of possibilities translate to losses for Player.
Player will lose, however, according to the house edge — which I calculated for the first time to be 7.
Combinatorial Mathematics of Reversed Card Counting Blackjack Strategy, Systems Well, there is no science when it comes to card counting at blackjack!
Instead of the plus counts, we consider as advantageous the minus counts.
I discovered one paradox regarding counting cards.
I ran my special software that precisely mathematically.
Clearly, Player would have an advantage in negative-count situations!
There is a high percentage of double down sequences: 4+6, 5+5, 5+6, even 3+6, 4+5.
All these situations, however, are squandered because they must occur in a low count negative.
Of course, the dealer and the player have an equal chance to get the double-down hands.
You know the difference: the blackjack dealer may not double down.
We simply count the Ten-valued cards as 1, 2, 3.
We don't have to remember the previous rounds.
We don't even count the Aces, as they become also 1-values serving the purpose of doubling down.
Of course, we, as the traditionalists, don't bother to count the neutral cards 7, 8, 9.
The neutral cards are worthless in the traditional plus-count blackjack systems.
We know that the neutrals can't hurt our mission.
The 10-valued card is the only one that cannot appear in a 2-card-double-down configuration.
If our simple count tells that more than one third of the cards dealt in the previous round were Tens 10 or J, Q, Kthe count is negative.
That is, the next round is favorable to double down hands.
Two cards in a double down configuration also increase the chance for a Ten-value card to land across our D-down hand!
Mathematics does back up this type of card-counting strategy.
We can click at this page with acceptable accuracy the probabilities, odds of hands leading to double down situations.
Not every configuration can be doubled down e.
That figure represents 8% of total possible 2-hand combinations 1362or once in 12 hands.
That's the only reason why the beginning of the card deck is slightly more favorable to the player.
The amount of other cards is unchanged.
The proportion of double down hands is now 8.
Evidently, just one 10 less favors the player by improving the double-down chances.
Let's not forget that double downs pay 2 to 1, while the natural pays 1.
The amount of other cards is unchanged.
The proportion of double down hands is now 9%.
The average blackjack hand consists of 3 cards per playing agent for all intents and purposes.
One third of Tens is equivalent to 8.
It is easy to see that one third is equal to the number of playing agents.
The cutoff value for favorable amount of Tens out is 4 over the one third; i.
But, again, there is a 75% increase in doubling down possibilities.
The probability for a natural blackjack decreases also — one reason the traditional plus-count systems anathema the negative counts.
But what's lost in naturals is gained in double downs — and then some.
The double down cases are the most favorable situations for the blackjack player and they outnumber the natural 21s.
The natural is the only mathematical factor that creates an advantage in plus count situations.
The natural 21 percentage is significantly lower, however, compared to the double down amount of 2-card hands.
Therefore the application of the is a must.
There is a 4.
That's so because the player is paid 1.
Also importantly, the player will not bust in those two case scenarios, while the dealer can bust.
I consider 9-value a strong card in the same category as 10 and 11 Ace.
Some counting systems also count please click for source and Ace together as they indicate chances for blackjack natural.
The beginning of the shoe offers a +4 true count in my book — take it to the bank.
Actually, I applied it only to my very first hand in a session.
I always tried to start playing a session immediately after a shuffle.
I recorded the results as W win or L loss ; I disregarded the pushes.
I had a streak of 5 consecutive first-hand losses, while my longest winning streak was 2.
You might say it was not a favorable string for my system.
I martingaled after 3 consecutive losses; I also martingaled after 3 consecutive single W streaks; that way, I wiped out the losses and made a small profit.
That is, keep a record on the same piece of paper that shows the blackjack basic strategy tables.
It is allowed at the blackjack table while you play.
LLWLWLWW… on the back side — and apply the above gambling systems for streaks betting, Martingale progressions.
It has the most solid mathematical foundation — the streaks are based on undeniable formulas.
The player's losing streaks are the shortest as far as the shoe-starts are concerned.
The CSMs should be avoided at all costs.
The Continuous Shuffling Machines provide the most crooked form of blackjack.
The ASM Automatic Shuffling Machines are somehow acceptable.
The ASMs are simply more tiresome from the blackjack players' standpoint.
Science and Law in Gambling Matters Well, there is no science when it comes to traditional!
Most card counting authors and advocates get irritated to the max when you pose them with the mathematical foundation of their theory of counting cards.
As one notorious card-counting software vendor put it:.
The reverse comes to life when my theory of streaks is debated.
All of a sudden, every opponent becomes a mathematics professor!
They shout that the streaks can't be analyzed mathematically.
But never the casino the house, or Player's opponentmind you!
As "Wizard" Lizard of Odds put it:.
I asked him consider, best mobile slot games for ipad question prove to me with real data in tivolicasino lifetime.
He reversed himself and replied with another email: "Okay, OK!
How about 20 times in a row?
He was closer to amusing best ios slot games opinion truth and honesty the first time around.
Yes, mathematically it is possible to get 200 Heads in a row in an incomprehensibly large number of trials.
But none of them self-proclaimed experts comprehend that random events consist of two more fundamental elements: and number of trials N.
Possibly, yes: Get 200 consecutive losses best card counting blackjack Heads, or Tails in a very large number of trials with an extremely low degree of certainty.
As absurd as it might sound, the blackjack card counters are treated by the casinos in a criminal modality.
Even more absurd, the courts of laws in the most law-worship-oriented nation rules in favor of the casinos reminiscent of the Mafia era.

An excellent book for any player looking or one of the easiest and strongest professional-level systems ever published.
I have no intention of putting in the work for it either.
I am a recreational player, and I'm never going to pay off my mortgage gambling.
What I do is I want to win a little, and enjoy myself.
What I do is read a few books 20+on a subject I like blackjack with 2 hopes.
Master the Basic Play enough to get my odds almost even with the house, and then 2.
Find a simple enough system to help me recognize when Just click for source have the advantage, so I can bet bigger and win.
This is what I like about this book.
In very simple terms, it lets you know the basics of several other popular methods, and why this one is different simpler.
It also explains a few things Initial Running Count, True Count, etc.
It also gives you a few simple tricks on how to actually count the cards go through 1 deck, then start recognizing and counting pairs, then go through 2 decks, etc.
For a layman, or entertainment player, this is a book I found very helpful.
If you have read a lot of books, and are attempting to be a professional gambler this book might be too simple for you.
However, if you are like me, and just want to hit the casino on vacation but play with a significant advantage, this might be the book you've been looking for!
The first several chapters are about this history card counting and full of, interesting, but ultimately irrelevant anecdotes.
Many of the other chapters feel more like the author is trying to sell the system rather than teach the system.
I click here expecting a deep dive into the mathematics of the game and the system.
They failed to deliver that deep dive, to be honest, I don't feel like this book taught me anything I couldn't have learned by carefully searching the internet.
I truly believe this is the best strategy.
Money management though is key in winning big no matter what counting strategy is used.
KO best with Double-deck!!!
I actually made money in Las Vegas after reading this book!
Did I get rich.
NO, but making a few hundred dollars made me feel like a million bucks!
Card counting is easy especially if you go to the "beginners" tables they have at some casinos where the dealers don't make small talk to try and distract you while you are playing.
You can beat the house sometimes and it is just plain fun to learn a system and use it effectively.
The real key is to know when to quite and don't spend more than 45 minutes at a table or you start to get fatigued from the concentration required to do this.
After achieving a level of comfort with basic strategy, I was eager for a little more action and bought this book.
I applied the basic concept before really learning the system and walked away with a big win the first time.
So I was hooked in and learned the complete system.
And moved up to larger bets.
Within six months of starting to play just basic strategy, I was kicked out of a casino for "having play that was too strong.
Get your chips from the table.
These guards will escort you to the cashier.
Can I tell you, I am a soccer mom.
I laughed to myself on my way out of the casino, thinking that I had just been rewarded a priceless conversation piece and a good reason to stay out of that smoky environment and pursue finer things.
Here several years later now, I can report that I have amused numerous friends and acquaintances and groups of strangers describing that scene.
And answering their subsequent questions.
The story value alone was well worth the price of the book!!.
Truth is, as you will learn if you dig very deep into advantage play, it is a complete grind.
Don't expect to make a fortune, but do count on increasing your skill, having a little fun and amusing your friends with the stories you can later tell them.
I'm an advantage player who used Hi-Lo for many years, yet I switched to the KO count as recommended in this book a few years ago because of its simplicity and power.
If you are looking for the easiest way to count cards yet want an advantage at the tables, I highly recommend this book.
As others have stated here, I agree that the writing style and the methods that the authors use to "teach the logic" of the material could be improved, nevertheless the information is accurate.
This book will pay for itself many times over if you are new to counting yet take the time read it, understand it, and play in the way prescribed, rather than as a gambler.
I know the Basic Strategy very well but always afraid to learn card counting.
However, the K-O card counting is easier than the Hi-Lo.
Will trying it out in the casinos.
Not completely through reading it, but so far it seems to be packed with good tips and tricks along with general strategy.
Remember, this book will not make you a black jack champ over night.

Card Counting - the ultimate guide | Count Cards in Blackjack
We all love to hear stories about avid gamblers who effectively manage to outsmart casino dealers and walk away with sizeable amounts of hard cold cash in their pockets.
What is Card Counting?
Card Counting, which is also often referred to as card reading, is a strategy which is frequently employed by blackjack players in order to determine whether the hand that is will be given out next will have a probable advantage to the player or the dealer.
By taking into account which high and low valued cards are distributed, the blackjack player is able to acquire the tell-tale signs as to which cards will be possibly drawn.
Why is Card Counting so fascinating?
To gamblers who have never counted cards in their entire lives, card counting is indeed a mystery which captivates them and reels them into schooling themselves in the unique and strategic concept.
Perhaps much of it is due to the fact that people who count seem to be more daring than most of us.
Or maybe it's because they are stories about folk who are really persistent, and able to refine basic blackjack strategy and turn it into a really profitable way of making money.
Or rather that we, like the rest of you out there, want to find a way to win as much as possible when gambling at a casino.
Or perhaps the answer is just that we really like to see someone, a no-one just like the rest of us, really sticking it to the big guys.
Card Counting is legal, but frowned upon by casinos.
History of Card Counting Another famous name in the card counting business is Andy Bloch, today maybe most known as a very successful poker player.
But he was also apologise, beste casino van belgie opinion of the M.
In the movie, Layton interviews card counters such as Edward Thorp and Andy Bloch.
Considered to be one of the fathers of card counting, the mathematical genius Dr.
Thorp successfully managed to sketch out the foundation of card counting for many avid blackjack buffs to enjoy using at casinos in the 20th century.
His 1962 book, Beat best card counting blackjack Dealer laid out not just what became somewhat of the foundation of card counting, but also several theories on how to play strategically correct blackjack.
In many ways, Thorp was ahead of his time, at the very least he was one of the first who published his theories and presented them to a wider audience.
PROS AND CONS OF CARD COUNTING As far as we are concerned, all types of cheating, like past-posting or base-dealing, definitely should be considered illegal.
The same goes for all types of use of helping devices such as mirrors or computerized calculators on iPhones.
A classic example is Keith Taft and son, who became famous in the 1970s for constructing portable and mechanical card counting devices see photo.
Counting the cards however, is just another way of thinking strategically during your game, and most importantly, it is not prohibited by law.
Therefore, we see no reason not to count cards per se, but we strongly advise inexperienced players not to try it at a casino because of the reprisals if you get caught by the casino security.
Or in other words, we just don't want you to get caught.
Ultimately, counting cards online is pretty much pointless because of the random number generators used at online casinos.
Nonetheless, inwhere several hands of blackjack can be played before you reach the cut-card and the dealer has to shuffle the deck, card counting can be really effective!
How to Count Cards From the moment the first card is being dealt from the newly shuffled deck the card counter starts to count the value of the cards.
A low-value card will add to your count by one point, and a high-value card subtracts one point from your running count.
All cards from 7 through 9 are considered best card counting blackjack neutrals and will not be counted in the Hi-Lo system.
Here is how your counting would look during a random blackjack round: Player 1 Player 2 Player 3 Player 4 Player 5 Dealer Cards: A, 5 6,2 7,8 Q,Q 3,8 9 Count: -1, +1 +1, +1 0, 0 -1, -1 +1, 0 0 Your total count after this specific round should be +1.
There have been more low-value cards dealt, and consequently there are more high-value cards left in the remaining deck.
As you might understand, the count will not be very accurate after only a couple of hands.
The more information you have gathered, the more precise your count will be and consequently the higher the edge for the player.
The first time you try to count on your own, you can use just one deck of cards and count through all the cards.
If your count is right it should end up at 0.
It won't be easy the first couple of times, but the more you practice, the faster and the more accurate your count will become.
After a while, you can try counting two best spread blackjack at the time, best card counting blackjack the cards just as a regular blackjack hand.
If you train yourself long enough, you will recognize different card combinations, and the count will come almost automatically to you.
And this is the brilliance of the simple Hi-Lo Count.
More complex count systems will be explained later on, but most card counting experts agree that the advantages of a quick and simple technique far surpasses a more accurate but complex counting system.
It will not take you too long to learn how to use this simple system and play blackjack at regular speed at the same time.
You will have the count in the back of your head, and even though you focus on the game, you will not draw any attention to the way you play.
If you do not totally manage the counting system you are using, it will take you way too long to figure out your count as dealers, pit bosses and floor managers are trained to take notice of this kind of behavior.
Practice today with our Card Counting Trainer To practice your blackjack counting skills, we strongly recommend our Card Counting Coach; think, best on line slots good single best way to learn how to count cards in blackjack.
Nonetheless, we also recommend that you go through our guide below to discover the different techniques used!
Card Counting Techniques THE HIGH-LO SYSTEM One of the most profitable, and maybe best card counting blackjack simplest way to count cards, is by using the Hi-Lo strategy.
The system is basically a running count technique where every card is assigned a specific value.
The system is taste vengeance demon hunter best in slot final to distinguish when the ratio of high value- and low value cards in the blackjack decks is unbalanced.
High value cards like tens and aces will not only increase the chance of blackjacks being dealt, but also hands totalling to 20.
A deck containing a majority of high value cards is a very profitable situation for the player, as it increases the chance of the dealer going bust.
In other situations, where the majority of the remaining cards in the deck are low value cards, all cards 2-6, the dealer will have a substantial edge over the player.
The fact that the dealer must draw on hard hands 12 through 16 will, in a situation where a lot of low-value cards are remaining in the deck, reduce the chances of the dealer going bust when drawing another card.
If there are a lot of high-value cards tens and aces in the deck, the probability of the dealer going bust is significantly greater.
THE TRUE COUNT A second factor to consider when you are trying to determine the balance of the blackjack deck is the number of remaining cards in the deck.
As we stated earlier, the closer you get to the bottom of the deck, the more accurate your count will be.
By dividing your running count with the approximate numbers of remaining decks you will get a more correct count - or the "true count".
Converting your running count into a true count will make your count a lot more accurate.
Now, this can be a bit tricky, but if you practice using several decks you will soon be able to visually estimate how many decks are left in the shoe.
If your count still shows a positive result after you have implemented the true count system to your running count, you'll have a good chance of making a good profit by increasing your bet size.
MORE COMPLEX CARD COUNTING SYSTEMS As long as card counting has been around, there have always been people trying to improve and refine different card counting techniques.
However, we have learned from experience that the simpler your system is, the easier it will be to practice.
Even if you think that you fully master a complex, and very accurate counting system, it will not make you any more money in the long run.
The disadvantages of more complex systems like side-counts and multi-level systems are that when you are trying to keep track of a lot more information it will detract from your ability to play fast and count accurately.
You will earn more money by playing a straightforward count faster than by playing a more complex one slowly.
The less effort you put in to counting, the more you can spend on steering clear of the casino security radar.
Back-Counting or Wonging One of the most famous card counting techniques is called "Wonging", named after the pseudonym Stanford Wong, used by John Ferguson, when writing his series of blackjack books.
The name "Wonging" referrers to his technique of observing Blackjack tables, counting the deck pretty much as described above, but moving in to the game only when the card count was in favor of the player.
Using this technique will reduce your "operating cost" i.
This technique however, is well known today and a floor manager will have no trouble detecting such behavior around the tables.
Furthermore, many casinos no longer allow "mid-shoe entry" in Blackjack games.
The obvious advantage of back-counting systems like for example wonging, is that the player does not have to play every hand that he or she counts.
This will reduce fluctuations in your bankroll and therefore increase the player's edge even more.
Why Simple Count Systems Are More Profitable For reasons already mentioned, multifaceted counting systems are obviously a lot more detectable for casino employees than simple, straightforward systems.
A group of counters playing together as a team are easily noticeable for "eye-in-the-sky" personnel.
Signs and codes are, even if you think that they will go by unnoticed, most of the time picked up by the surveillance cameras - if not at once, then surely afterwards when security people review the tapes.
In contrast, cameras will never be able to pick up what goes on inside the mind of a player, and that is probably the best reason for why the high-tech casinos of today still have trouble spotting the most successful card counters.
The minute you take your system outside your head and include outside assistance that can leave tracks for the casino to pick up is when you risk detection.
Most casinos try to spot card counters by observing irregularity in betting patterns, both manually and with the help of technology.
If you are using a simple counting system, you can concentrate on covering up your tracks, by for example communicating with people around the table, and adjusting your betting pattern so that it won't be of any reason for suspicion.
How to Avoid "Attracting Heat" while Card Counting We strongly believe that keeping your technique as simple as possible, and really learn how to master it, is the best way of not getting detected at the casinos.
It is highly possible that the best card counters are not the best deposit casino uk, Rainman-type of players, but the ones that know how to visit web page and really know how to blend in the casino environment.
Practicing by using our Card Counting Coach will definitely make you a better card counter, but the job on how to blend in at a live casino is something you have to learn to excel on your own.
One thing is for sure though, the better your count is, and the more natural it comes to you in your head, the easier it will be for you to work on your stealth skills at the casino.
And hopefully one day we will be hearing about your legendary winnings at the blackjack tables - or better yet, we'll never hear of them!
Counter-Measures From the Casinos Card counting systems have been around for ages and some of the first books on the subject were published in the early sixties - and so have the people working for the casinos trying to stop these activities.
Listed below are some of the most common, and visit web page failed attempt by the casinos to put a stop to card counting: The Cutting Card Some of the first actions taken by the casinos were to put the cutting card into practice, so that you never played the whole deck through.
Multiple Decks They also started to use more card decks in the games, even though the number of decks doesn't really matter when you are using, for example, the Hi-Lo count explained above.
Inhouse Card Counting Today there are several automated systems that the casinos use to detect, what they consider, dishonest play.
Some casinos scan all cards dealt from the blackjack shoes, i.
When they know that the deck is unbalanced in the favor of the players, they run this information together with betting irregularity information collected from the table.
If a player systematically raises his or her stakes at points where the computer finds the deck to be hot, the player might be suspected of card counting, and probably asked to leave the casino or try their luck at other, non-skill based games within the casino premises.
Microchips Inside Gambling Chips Furthermore, one common way of detecting betting irregularity at the tables is the use of micro-chips planted in the gambling chips at the casino.
This makes it really easy for the casino to roulette win best to ways and track information on betting amounts at the tables.
This might sound a bit "Orwell-esque" to some, but bear in mind that we are dealing with establishments who have been using surveillance cameras for decades, and their main goal is to make money, not giving it away to people who are really good at outsmarting them.
Facial Recognition One of the latest casino surveillance technologies is facial recognition programs.
Facial recognition cameras can identify known cheaters assembled in a database.
The cameras scan all casino visitors when entering the casino.
Because of these new cameras, a well-known card counter might be asked to leave the casino before he or she even made it to the blackjack tables.
Card Counting Team Play Strategy One single player can obviously only play a certain number of hands at the time.
Therefore, to play in a team might seem to be a smart way to increase your hourly earnings.
Team-play has successfully been practiced by groups like the M.
The most well-known type of team-counting strategies are ones where members of the team play one table each, and by signaling the rest of the team, telling them when to move in with the big money at the table.
An advantage with team play is that you can decide to only move in with a large stack when you know that a table is really favorable for the player.
The downsides are that group play is quite a large operation, and besides the immediate risk of getting caught, there are many people involved, who all want a piece of the profit.
Plus, a floor manager will surely keep an extra eye on a high roller jumping between tables, so yet again the risk of getting caught best card counting blackjack quite evident.
Nevertheless, if you feel like giving a team play a go, or just want to know how it could work, here's a classic structure of how a team play lineup might look like: The Back-Spotter This is a member of the team who necessarily doesn't have to be seated at any of the tables.
By watching the tables from a distance, the Back-Spotter can signal the rest of the team when the Gorilla should move in at the table.
The Spotter This team member is an active player at the table, but his or her main job is to keep an accurate count of the deck at this particular table.
The casinos are steadily checking for betting irregularities at the tables, therefore the spotter keeps wagering the minimum bet and instead signaling the Gorilla or a team manager when the deck is hot.
The Gorilla Gorillas are not famous for their math skills, and therefore the gorilla doesn't have to keep a count.
Instead, this team member moves around from table to table, playing for the maximum wagers link when the table is really hot.
A classic gorilla character is the one of a drunken millionaire, moving from table to table, throwing his big money around in what might seem like a reckless manner.
The Big Player The Big Player role in the team is to keep the rest of the team from getting detected.
A high-roller with a competent blackjack play will certainly attract attention from the casino personnel.
Remember, it is not illegal to play perfect strategy at the blackjack tables, and a skillful player with the same bankroll as the gorilla will surely catch the eyes of the casino before the rest of the team does.

The house edge in a typical blackjack game is around 0.
Below is a brief introduction to card counting if you are curious about how this tactic is done.
In a nutshell, card counting is a tracking system where players use their memory to keep track of what cards have been dealt in blackjack.
Since the game is dealt from a shoe in most casinos and there are only a certain number of cards in play each round, it is possible to get an idea of what is remaining in the deck and adjust your betting strategy accordingly.
Most counting systems use a -1, 0 and +1 system which gives each card in the deck a value.
here cards 2-6 are +1, cards 7, 8 and 9 are 0 neutral and face cards and aces are -1.
best free slots for ipad review the cards are dealt, the player keeps track of the count using this system to get an overall picture for the remaining cards in the shoe.
Since most blackjack games use multiple decks, the player will have to divide the running count current count they have by the number click to see more decks they believe are left to form what is known as the true count.
This system takes a ton of practice, however it is a proven method to get an advantage over the casino in blackjack.
Card counting in casinos is a concept surrounded by misconceptions, with most people assuming it is a skill only mathematical wizards can pull off successfully.
Blackjack and poker players are often assailed by questions regarding the big deal with counting cards, as well as its legality and workability.
Counting cards is really just a variation of basic strategies, not rocket science.
It requires no mathematical prowess or photographic memory, even though mathematicians developed and established the first card counting systems.
The actual counting is a skill average players master without a challenge; the difficult part is usually avoiding getting kicked out of a casino, though this is not a problem with.
It makes it possible for a Blackjack player to be at an advantage over the casino for a lengthy period of time, which means that overall, players that are counting cards will experience more wins than losses.
This is only possible when the player knows when the odds of winning are in their favor, so they can bet more, and when the odds of losing the hand check this out to the dealer.
This is done by keeping track of the cards during the game.
The game has many variations, but for standard Blackjack, the player aims at having a hand of cards totaling to 21 points without exceeding.
The face value of all cards in the deck is considered to be their points, except for best card counting blackjack, Jack, Queen, and King, which are the Royals, each with a value of 10.
To play, the dealer deals each player with two cards, face down, and two cards to themselves, with only one face down.
In Blackjack, you should not expect to see the deck being shuffled except for that one time at the onset of the game.
For players with extremely good memory, they can mentally mark every card they see, hand after hand, best card counting blackjack then deduct the number of cards remaining in the deck as well as which ones have been dealt already.
For instance, if only small cards have been revealed for a while, there is a great chance that Royals will be the next hand, and this may be the best time to bet high.
On the other hand, if only large cards have been shown, betting low is the best option, and you can hit without worrying about a bust.
Why do Large Cards Favor the Player?
Before you venture into playingunderstand that the mix of cards in the deck influences the probability of your winning a hand.
The probability increases when the mix has an abundance of large cards, such as Aces, 10s, Kings, Queens, and Jacks.
Sometimes the dealer may end up with a stiff hand such as 12 to 16and at this point he has to draw.
If large cards are the majority in the deck, it is more likely that the dealer will bust.
Players who double down in the large card mix usually make good.
On the other hand, there is more profit for dealers who hold stiff hands and draw from small card-rich decks.
How then does the player know if the deck is laden with large or small cards?
This is where understanding the basics of card counting in Blackjack come in handy.
Basic Strategies of Card Counting The basis of a card counting strategy is the odds that come with every card in the deck.
However, when a hand has been played, the used cards are put by the dealer in the discard tray.
The next hand is dealt with what remains of that deck.
An estimated half or three-quarters of the same deck may end up being used before the cards are reshuffled.
Normally, card counting systems base their calculations for the odds of drawing a 10-value card on the cards still in the deck.
When a player is able to keep track of the cards as they are played, deduction becomes easy.
Keeping track of the cards is easiest done by assigning each card with a tag.
Tagging Cards Hi-Low, the most popular system of counting cards, assigns a tag of +1 to the small cards favorable to the dealer 2-6.
A tag of -1 is assigned to the player favorable cards, which are the large cards 10, Jack, Queen, King, and Ace.
A tag of 0 is assigned to the cards left 7, 8, and 9.
The player observes keenly as the cards are played and then discarded, and he continually adds their values.
Zero is the starting point immediately after a shuffle, and the values fluctuate between positive and negative, the total being the running count.
At the start of the first round, when the cards are faced, the player adds the tags.
If, for instance, player 1 shows a 2 and 4, you add +1 tag for the 2 and +1 tag for the 4 to get a sum count of +2.
This addition of the card tags should continue for every card the player sees, increasing the count by 1 for small cards and decreasing by 1 for large cards.
As the first round draws to a close, the running count will either be negative or positive.
The player may have seen 10 -19 02 +1King -1Ace -1and Jack -1 dealt in the first hand, in which case the count would be -3.
A negative running count indicates more high value cards have been played, and therefore, the deck is rich in small cards.
At this point, the dealer will have the edge and the player bets the lowest amount allowed.
The reverse is true of a positive running count: the discard tray contains many low value cards, which in turn means the deck still has a greater percentage of here value cards.
This has a positive impact, as the next hand brings the odds in favor of the player, and the next bet he makes should be larger.
Considering a player bases his strategy on the assumption that a 10-value card will be dealt in the next hand, this assumption becomes stronger when it is backed by the greater percentage.
This, therefore, strengthens the overall basic strategy.
Placing the Bet A typical user of a card-counting system usually places a minimum bet against the table when the deck is still fresh.
As the running count increases and gets to a particular level, like a +4 or higher, the system user doubles down aggressively or increases his bet significantly.
The higher the running count, the larger the bet placed and vice versa.
These are the beneficial odds the player uses to make wins while the deck is still hot.
When the count drops to less than a zero or the dealer best card counting blackjack the deck, it is high time to go back to the minimum bets.
Putting Theory into Practice As a player, you must put all you have learned so far into practice.
Take a deck of cards and thoroughly shuffle them, after which you should turn each card over at a time, reciting its tag.
Next, flip the cards in the same deck over one at a time while making a mental note of the running count.
This is the test for card counting accuracy.
Success best card counting blackjack card counting comes with the ability to make an accurate count down of a deck of cards in under 30 seconds.
How Legal is Counting Cards?
Card counting is not cheating, unless counting machines or devices are used.
In spite of the many attempts by casinos to get laws criminalizing it passed, it remains legal.
This means that winning a card game by employing a mental strategy or skillfully using the information you have is not an issue.
You cannot really be stopped by anyone from counting cards in your head!
The problem comes in when the casinos, which are private establishments with the right to serve the customers they choose, deem a counting strategy cheating and believe a player to be counting cards.
At this point, the player risks not only being thrown out of the casino they are playing at, but being blacklisted by other casinos as well.
Most brick-and-mortar casinos hire people with the training and experience for spotting players counting cards so as to boot them before the casino incurs significant loss.
They also share a common network, and it is quite possible for a player barred from entering one casino under accusations of rigging a game to be given the same treatment in all casinos within the same link.
Charges of trespass become inevitable if you go to these casinos after being blacklisted.
